2570: Ian Cameron unites the Inner Sphere under the banner of the Star League.
2751: Simon Cameron dies leaving the five member states to take turns as acting regents.
2766: Stefan Amaris stages a coup d'etat and takes control of the Star League.
2766: General Aleksandr Kerensky leads a rebellion against the usurper Ameris.
2779: Kerensky leads final assault on Ameris' stronghold on Terra. Ameris & Family exacuted.
2780: Member state Lords strip Kerensky of title and order him to disperse the Defense Force.
2781: Each Member state claims right as First Lord of the Star League. War soon erupts.
2784: Disgusted with feuding Lords, Kerensky & 80% of Defense Force Leave the Inner Sphere, never to be seen again.
2785-3019: Centuries of war ensue. Mankind loses centuries of advancements in science & technology in what is called the succession wars.
3020: Archon Katrina Steiner of the Lyran Commonwealth sends peace proposal to fellow House Lords. Only one replies.
3021: The Archon & Prince Hanse Davion of the Federated Suns begin talks in secrecy.
3022: Talks conclude that Prince Hanse will marry Katrina's daughter Melissa joining the two realms.
3024: Word of the impending marriage leaks and remaining 3 houses sign the Concord of Kapetyn, officially joining forces.
3028: Hanse Davion marries Melissa Steiner joining the two realms into the Federated Commonwealth.
3028: As a wedding gift Hanse invades the Capellan Confederation in a series of brilliant attacks.
3029: ComStar, whose members have preserved intersteller communication, blocks all transmissions in the Fed-Com ending the war. The Capellan Confederation has lost half it's worlds.
3030: The Great Houses jockey for power through covert dealings and skirmishes.
3034: Free Rasalhague Republic announces Independence from Draconis Combine. Brokered by ComStar.
3039: Hanse Davion attacks Draconis Combine to once again try and unite the Inner Sphere through force.
3040: Attacks stall as Combine mysteriously boosts it's military with rare Star League mechs. Davion cut his losses.
3041-3049: Relative peace reigns as the Successor States rebuild.
3050: Mercenary units are forced to work in the backwater worlds of the Periphery nations to stay afloat. The Death Dealers are one such unit.
