Welcome to My Forum. I'm Overkill the Game Master. I made this site to play out a mercenary unit in the Classic Battletech Universe or 'CBT' for short. The universe of Battletech is so vast it would take me a very long time to explain.
In summery? Ok, here is the Wikipidia of the time line.

Moving on. This site (my game) is dedicated to the original RolePlaying Game Called 'MechWarrior 1st edition. with some home rules added in such as an extended skill list.
That being said if any CBT lovers out there stumble onto this site feel free to start up your own games using whatever rules if any you want. I'm pretty easy going.
Want to join my Mercenary unit? Shoot me a PM. There are mech warriors, techs, areopilots, vehicle crew and even infantry slots available. Because the original 1st addition rules every player played 4 characters I am sort of staying with that theme allowing any and all players to play a Character in any or all of the Units subgroups. MechWarrior, Infantry, Aeropilot/crew, Vehicle crewman and technical staff.
PASSWORDS
You may notice the game threads require passwords. This is to help represent the fog of war as well as the fact that one branch of a military unit doesn't know what another branch is up to. For instance say you only have one character and he is an infantryman. If your Infantry squad calls for air support will it show up? What's taking the mech force so long to get here? And why are the hover tanks asking for reinforcements? You simply won't know because you will only have access to the game you are playing. Only way to know everything is to be in all the games. I think it will add some suspense and mystery. If I find that every player is in every game or that the board doesn't seem to get any new players then I may abolish them.
