ok, so obviously there will be times when the game threads overlap (Techs talking to their mech pilots etc), so how should we handle crossovers?

Well what about a section for open communication (meaning unsecured) or a section called crosstalk (meaning 2 radio broadcasts overlap and each can hear the other). Or maybe a commons area where everyone can talk to everyone else?

the only issue with that is it may involve to much bouncing around for all the players. What if a conversation just continues in both related threads. Such as Mechwarrior A says to Tech B "How's my mechs repairs coming along?" and I as the GM leave it there as well as cut and paste it in the Techs thread. then vice versa for the response? To complicated?

I hate to post it, but it seems to truly have a game where everyone doesn't know what the other is doing, you will probably just have to make Boards that combine the Boards, hide them when they are done and present them again when the groups get together again. I think that would be the easiest solution and the most straight forward.

Hmmm, that may be the way to go. I think 'bouncing around' is just unavoidable to keep things unknown. I'll wait for some more comments. I have time right now anyway.

I like beastieboys' idea, but no matter what happens it sounds like a lot of work for overkill regardless which option you choose.
