Yeah I'll be playing Battletech in Riverside CA. in about 12 hours. 3 way free for all Citytech style game. Clan Wolf (played by me) will field a second line Command star consisting of an Orian IIc, Warhammer IIc, Marauder IIc, Highlander IIc and a Hellfire, vs. Clan Steel Viper (a rookie) fielding a mixed star consisting of a Stone Rhino, Viper, Warhawk H, Glass Spider and a Nova (modified to carry Medium Pulse lasers), vs. Clan Jade Falcon Garrison fielding 2 stars consisting of a Phoenix Hawk IIc, 4 Baboons, 2 Hunchback IIc's, 2 Incubus' and a Helhound. 14,500 BV per player. Average pilot is 3g, 4p with some better here and there.
Wish me luck.

Here are a couple phone shots, yes thats me. I crushed the opposition only losing my Hellfire while my Warhammer and Highlander took moderate to severe damage. My Orian and Marauder came away almost pristine. The Viper player faired the worst going toe to toe with Clan Jade Falcon and losing the Nova to a Hunchback IIc when its center line was cored and a disgraced Warhawk H to the combined might of five lighter mechs when Zelbrigan was thrown to the wind. The sneaky Wolves ambushed the second Hunchback blasting it to pieces. The Wolves Highlander destroyed the Glass Spider, and the Stone Rhino took on all comers, but the pilot punched out after his machine was left weaponless. Only the 75 ton Viper gave a true warriors showing when he continued to evade damage even when cornered by 4 Wolf mechs and even claimed the Hellfire as a kill. Unfortunately his honor was then tainted when he left the field instead of die on it. The Falcons hoped their speed would prevail in the narrow confines of the city, but the Wolves out smarted them at every turn working together to heard them like cattle. While Zelbrigan was still honored our Star Colonel in his Orian swept aside 3 of the pathetic light mechs. Even their mighty Phoenix Hawk fell to our superior WarHammer Pilot. The rest fell to our superior firepower and battle skills when Zelbrigan was renounced. They conceded victory soon after.

Thanks it was a blast! We tried something new. A random mech placement that got the battle started real fast as apposed to taking an hour to maneuver into position.
