Background:
“So you want to know about Him… Huh?”
The man takes a drag from his half-gone filter less cigarette and slowly exhales the smoke. His eyes seemingly wandering as if something else has taken his attention for a moment.
“ He’s a ghost…. A man with no fear and no pain. A man who is said not to mutter a word. The only man Prince Victor is said to have fully trusted his life with. He is the Gray Fox.
It’s said he was trained in the Draconis March to hunt the Snakes using their own techniques against them. I however know differently…..
This Fox….. well he was born into a proud line. His father was a Royal Protector to Ian Davion, or the Hound as many knew him. You probably know that Ian was well known for his advances along the March’s border. His father was a part of many of these actions along the March. In one such engagement it is said he stopped a hate crime on a Draconis commoner. This commoner vowed a Life Debt to him. This Life Debt was repaid by training his only child in the secrets of the Dragon, while he continued his duty into Hanse’s reign. For many years the young boy’s training was kept a mystery from all. He excelled fast and grew his mentor’s favor over his other student, his own son. This student grew jealous and let slip his father’s secret. The Dragon retaliated against this act of treason. They slaughtered his mentor and tried to kill the Fox. He met his assassins face to face and quickly dispatched them with his blade. His skill surprising many of them. He knew he would be cast as a traitor and left the Snakes for good.
This Fox returned to find his father slain and his home set ablaze. At this site, he swore to cut off the head of the Snake. He took what remained of his family name and used what contacts were left to get him into the NAIS. From what knowledge I have, it is said he excelled in his courses. Earning the respect of not only his peers & instructors, but from the Fox Den itself.
Not all of what information I have obtained next can be verified, but I have accounts of his being involved in several deployments on First Prince Victor’s direct orders. There are also statements connecting this Fox to rumored Rabid Foxes. It is said that he volunteered for a super soldier program and was tested and experimented on. This is what gives him his seemingly inhuman attributes and unnatural ability to ignore pain and fear.
It is said he still works for Prince Victor and is on assignment some where in this sector. Do you have any knowledge of his whereabouts? “
The rather overweight individual starts to sweat a second and looks around.
“ Nnnnn no….. I can’t say that I do mister. “
The man quickly dispatches him with the flash of his blade, and quickly flicks what remains of the man off.
